Sync GUI not opening on QNAP

Hello,

I'm having troubles getting Sync to open through my QNAP GUI. Have tried many times over the last 6 months to year and just given up, but I need to add/remove folders now so I have to make it work.

When I click "open" in the App area on my QNAP, it comes back with "<domain name> took too long to open" 

I have a QNAP 421 running firmware 4.2.4. 

 

Any ideas?

Jimmy, the problem can be caused by too many folders in Sync == too big database to load to memory on start. So please check if you have enough RAM on your device for proper Sync running. If you want to investigate the issue further please contact support team and do not forget to attach logs.
