steveharman Posted July 12, 2017 Report Share Posted July 12, 2017 Hi, So I'm working away with Home Mac at home, with a read/write sync setup on Folder One. The Office Mac away in my office is also setup with a sync key for Folder One but is switched off when I work from home. I then finish working at home, switch off the home Mac, drive to the office and use Office Mac which has been switched off all week. After I launch Resilio Sync on my Office Mac will it begin a sync with Home Mac even though Home Mac is now switched off? A shorter question would probably be; do both my Macs need to be switched on all the time to keep themselves in sync. ;-) Thanks, Steve Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Since posting my question I've now got Resilio Sync running on our Synology NAS. Hopefully this will provide the always-on 'third party' storage between my machines!
