auto sync on desktop

is there a way to auto sync my files on the desktop without having to initiate the sync once i open the app on desktop?

do you mean that you want to sync files without the syncing tool running? Sorry, but Sync must be running so as to transfer files.

here is what i would like to be able to do.

1. upload images from remote site to resilio.

2. when i get home and open resilio app and click on the folder, the images are all there to edit no manually syncing required.

currently i have to right click on the folder and click the sync tab at the top of drop down. depending on how many files i have this could be time consuming. You can see in the screenshot that if i click on the folder labeled test there are no images in the folder  until i click the resume syncing tab.

Is there a way that the files can already be synced/downloaded so as to not have to wait so long?  i don't quite understand why it says resume syncing on the dropdown when i haven't done anything to pause the sync?

anyway, hopefully this makes sense to you.

disregard, i figured it out. the pause syncing was clicked on the resilio icon at the top of my screen.

yeah, syncing is already done automatically (again, provided Sync app is running). In your case its was just set to Pause
