that's the point. the device to which you link must have a license so that you could click 'link device' button and get the M-key. Others, which are being linked, may not have it - paste the M-key from a Pro device to "Manual Connection" here, it will link to Pro

I guess I'm not being clear. I have several devices already connected - those devices work. I'm trying to install on a new machine. Most of the time it works, but this one machine did not work - when I clicked Link Device I did not get the popup so that I could enter the key (not get the key, enter it).

FYI, I found a workaround:

Settings, License, then click on on the manual connection link.
