Robert Dufour
Hello, I am using Sync 2.5.9 (1088) on Windows 10. Since a couple of weeks Sync will startup automatically on both of my PCs although I have unchecked this from the options menu. This is slowing down startup. How can I disable that? Resilio sync is not listed in the Windows startup menu (Task manager). Any clue? Robert
Helen
You can close Sync before rebooting the PC or use any of the workarounds suggested in the Internet: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/insider/forum/insider_wintp-insider_perf-insiderplat_pc/programs-autostart-after-boot-in-windows-10-fall/09dd8d3e-7b36-45d1-9181-6587dd5d53ab?auth=1https://superuser.com/questions/1261910/after-windows-10-fall-creators-update-recent-used-app-will-launch-on-startup
edwin2608
Hi, I've got the same problem. @Helen thanks for the support, but to be honest, the workarounds are not very user friendly. Isn't there another way? Your suggestion to close Sync before restarting doesn't do the trick unfortunately. Regards, Edwin
Helen
are you sire you stop the process and not just close UI?
edwin2608
Closing the proces worked. Thx
Robert Dufour
Yes it seems to work for me too. I was not aware that the process stayed opened in the background when I close the UI. Thanks Helen. Robert
