yamlCase Posted February 8, 2018 Report Share Posted February 8, 2018 (edited) I'm having an issue where I tried to sync my entire C:\Users\User\ directory yesterday, but the app kept going "Not Responding". I killed the process, uninstalled, reinstalled, and now I'm getting this error on that same directory: 'Cannot add "C:\Users\User". It contains a folder that is already syncing. Please choose another folder.' I tried uninstalling and deleting all the Resilio directories in AppData and ProgramData, but no no avail. Also searched and removed any ".sync" folders I found. Reboots also do not fix it issue. Is there a control or hidden file somewhere that is created but not deleted properly? Helen Posted February 9, 2018 Report Share Posted February 9, 2018 That's right, user's home folder contains Sync installation folder, you cannot get Sync to sync itself.
