David Lange
Hey guys, I'm currently on version 2.5.13 (1301) and got auto-update off. When I search for updates manually it finds version 2.6. Whenever I try to install it, this message appears: "The update of Resilio Sync failed. Error: The requested process cannot be completed because the specified process is not a GUI process." I tried multiple times and this always happens. Does anybody know how to fix it? Thanks, David
Gane O'dwyer
Try to disable the antivirus apps and repeat again the app updating.
HerbertMayer
I have the same issue. Disabling Windows Defender and Firewall (I don't have any other antivirus) did not help.

David, I was able to fix it on my system. It's technically also possible to update by just downloading the latest installer and running that. (https://www.resilio.com/platforms/desktop/) However, this had also been failing me. It just always opened up Resilio again without updating it. Then I found this post, and that worked for me. Quote upgrade resilio sync to new version resolved by: disable resilio sync auto launch when system boot restart system upgrade it Hope it works for you too!
