Hello,

I would like to use Resilio Sync as a means to backup my Android phone to my Synology NAS. I want to do something like this:

On NAS:

\user_home_folder\Mobilebackup

On Mobile:

\phone\DCIM

\phone\Documents

\phone\Music

....

I want all of the mobile folders to sync to the NAS in subfolders within the base folder structure described above. Although I have Resilio Sync running on my NAS, and mobile, I don't understand how to configure things.

Can somebody help at all?

You should set your NAS to disconnected mode in Resilio Sync, so it doesn't connect newly added folders automatically. That way you can easily define the path of each connected folder later. If you set it to connected, Resilio Sync will automatically connect new folders and store them in the default directory. Then you have to manually disconnect each folder, remove the already synced files and connect it again, sepcifying a custom directory.

You have to add the folders on your smartphone as backup. Then go to the NAS and connect the folders. That's it.
