GMS
I have resilio sync on freenas. Today I received an error message "can't sync because the file system doesn't support writing large files"? How can I fix it? Thanks
Frank Maier
FreeNAS should use ZFS, which should be able to easily handle your files. But maybe you have some folders on a different partition, which uses some other older file system. What file systems are you using on all your devices with all your shares? GMS
I have one pool with ZFS. and plugin Resilio uses it as mounting point. Error messages I see with files over 10Gb size.

AlexC
@3wrug Same solution. Install the following build http://internal.resilio.com/support/debug/sync/2.6.10056/resilio-sync_freebsd_x64.tar.gz
DaveC
I had the same issue, so I tried the older version and it now fails for any file over 2GB. I have the free disk space check set to false so I don't get any warnings, but the system just stops transferring data with a 2gb file in the .sync for each failed file transfer. Moving back to the new version now also has exactly the same problem.
Andy+
Maybe a bug. Maybe ones more as reason to have updates in short cycles. It makes no sense to have a big update in one or two times per year. It is better to have in fixed cycles of a month or so.
