chicagonyc Posted July 9, 2022 Report Share Posted July 9, 2022 For a long time I was able to set up a sync folder for my Pixel 4a running Android 12 using a pre-existing key. I would synchronize the built-in (not external) Storage/emulated/0/DCIM/Camera folder and it would be great -- I could easily download pictures to my computers, and when I delete pictures from the folder, it would free space on the phone. But recently I noticed the Resilio Sync app started complaining about not having access to the folder. So I deleted the folder share and tried to re-add the folder using the key and I was unable to do so, being presented with an error "Android OS restricts write access to this folder". Update: I had to click "continue" when asked about allowing Resilio access to the folders. Now it works! I'm leaving up the post in case other people have this situation.
