adam1v Posted July 22 Report Posted July 22 Hi, Ive just been reading the news and blog posts around the new 'Resilio Active Everywhere', its exciting stuff for sure! In the recent email newsletter that went out it was stated: Quote We understand it's been a while since you've received a software update, and we wanted to acknowledge that and share the latest news. The team has been working behind the scenes to develop the next generation of Resilio Sync. We're committed to continuously improving your experience, and a significant update will be designed to make Sync even more powerful. We can’t reveal all the details yet, but it is scheduled to launch in the near future. In the meantime, we have released a maintenance update today. Resilio Sync 2.8 includes security enhancements, bug fixes, and other performance improvements. We highly recommend you update your current version to Sync 2.8. I have a couple questions Is it intended that Resilio Connect will be superseded by 'Resilio Active Everywhere', even if not now, perhaps down the line? Are there any short term or long term plans for Resilio Connect EoL? Suggested timescales? Do you have any provisional price plans for Resilio Active Everywhere? Any thoughts around transferable licenses between the products? Apologies for the difficult questions! Quote
Helen Posted July 25 Report Posted July 25 Hello, Resilio Connect is a different (from Resilio Sync) product, serving the needs for large enterprise data management. Recently it was rebranded into Resilio Active Everywhere. To answer your concerns 1. It's not the matter of replacement. Resilio Connect was rebranded into ..., not superseded by Resilio Active Everywhere. 2. i believe #1 also convers this one. 3. You can request demo and pricing here providing your business case scenario and dataflow. 4. License for Resilio Connect continues to work for Resilio Active Everywhere, no changes here. Quote
