guinnsquirrel Posted August 10, 2024 Report Posted August 10, 2024 Hello, Does anyone know if the new Resilio Sync 3 will come to Synology NAS devices? Quote
eltopo Posted August 10, 2024 Report Posted August 10, 2024 Looks like all 32bit NASes are deprecated and have to stay with 2.x, from 3.0 change log: Resilio Sync 3.0 change log – Sync Quote
Mawthra Posted August 11, 2024 Report Posted August 11, 2024 The question remains: where are the packages for 64-bit Synology NAS devices? Quote
Alex_W Posted August 13, 2024 Report Posted August 13, 2024 The Sync packages for NASes will be released a bit later. No ETA at the moment, sorry for the inconvenience. Quote
Alex_W Posted August 14, 2024 Report Posted August 14, 2024 Sync packages for NASes are available in Sync KB: https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/sections/32030969152019-Install-on-a-NAS Important: Do not attempt to update Resilio Sync Business installation to Resilio Sync v3. It is not supported and access to the configured shares will be lost. Reinstalling of Sync will be required. If you use Resilio Sync Business, please continue using Resilio Sync v2. The latest available version is 2.8.1. Quote
Andy+ Posted August 15, 2024 Report Posted August 15, 2024 I also test it and runs as the versions before. Quote
IMBarney Posted August 26, 2024 Report Posted August 26, 2024 Hi...newbie here. I updated to 3.0 on my home Synology NAS 1522+ but when I go to login with the WebUI, it's not taking my user/pass. So I went back to 2.8.1 and it has me start the setup process again...which is fine as I uninstalled everything. So if all login info has been erased, I reinstalled 3.0, but it's still asking for user/pass.... not to setup a new system. Is there a default I'm missing? Search came up nothing. Any suggestions? Thanks! Quote
PixRo Posted November 12, 2024 Report Posted November 12, 2024 Bump. Same question, and this is personal (not business.) Looking for instruction on getting Resilio Sync running on a Synology DS220+ DSM 7.0 (and using Mac machines) that does not require Docker. And yes, referenced https://help.resilio.com/hc/en-us/articles/206664850-Synology#synology yet there is a disconnect. Quote
