Smajda
I have an old Android 9.0 phone that I am using as my "personal cloud" - it is running only Sync and VNC client, connected via WiFi (na SIM card). After installing the new version 3.0.1 od Sync the application crashes as soon as it is started. I did delete all related data, reinstalled Sync. Now when running Sync I get the "Hi there!" welcome screen, after the tour I get the "Set up your sync" screen. No matter what name I fill after pressing "Done" in the top right corner the app crashes. It also crashes with or without mobile data enabled. I have also tried to give all permissions to the app. Is there anything else I may try?
ttjp
I also use Android 9 and experience the same problem. The previous version of the app worked flawlessly, but since the 3.0.1 update the app crashes every time I try to use it. Restarting the phone or tablet does not solve the issue. KI4WIN
Same issue for me on both of my S8+ devices, started with upgrade to 3.0.1. Sync is working fine on my 2024 Moto G Power and other devices.

Senior
The new version of the app keeps crashing. Before, everything worked fine! Deleted data and cache, restarted the phone, entered the name and when it was finished, the app crashed. Does anyone know a solution? FrostEcho
Just adding that this is happening on my Kindle Fire tablet too. Works great on my Pixel 6a, though.

Bender192
Haven't gotten an update yet, my older devices on Android 7 and 8 still don't work. Android 14 works. All devices only have the version from Sept. 20.
