That only give a partial sucess (for me at least). I can block doc temps, but it seems to struggle with xlsx files. I have added the following to my ignore list..
*~
*.bak
~$*
*.tmp
*.TMP <- probably not needed but I saw TMP files coming through when tmp was already in the list
but temp files still get through. for example, I just dropped onto a customers sync folder and found this.. ~$Consultancy pipeline.xlsx.!sync despite having the same extra filters on all the synced folders.
There's already been a case where someone edited the temp file thinking it was the normal version. I had to make them aware to ignore anything that started with a ~

I've added ~* to the .SyncIgnore files on all the synced folders on all synced computers, yet there are still some older ~$*.xlsx.!sync files that are still appearing. Is it safe to delete them?
