As a workaround, I was able get btsync working with the predefined hosts option. From the security point of view I guess this is even better than LAN only syncing, but slightly less convenient to setup.

For security and privacy reasons I prefer to keep btsync traffic only on my local LAN, so I disabled the options for the relay server and tracking server. I was successfully syncing between two windows computers.
However, recently I noticed that my computers are not syncing. This happened after I upgraded to btsync 1.1.82 (I cannot confirm if it happened immediately when I upgraded, as I may not have paid attention to the btsync icon). Under the devices, the two computers do not see each other, unless I turn the tracking server on. Has anyone else noticed this problem?
Disabling windows firewall on both machines makes no difference.

Are you saying that syncing works with the tracker enabled (the default setting), but doesn't work if you turn this setting off?
