    Hello,

     

    as far as I understnd Bittorrent application it works on the following way.

    2 client users have the Bittottent sync client downloaded and installed. If they will share the files
    between them send, receive files etc... then they can just exchange the secret key..

     

    But is there any "Server" that handles these clients ? these secret keys they need to contain som kind of url or something, because how can one user kno where the other user is located, so there needs to be an server application in this case, am i right ? is yes, is it possible to download this server application and run it on own server ?
