dieterreuter
I'm using a restrictive firewall (deny-all by default), where I have to whitelist all ports which are used for BTSync. Now I'm looking for a complete list, which ports (tcp and udp) will be used by BTSync. Hoping there is a cool tutorial which covers it. Or even a description about the networking concept, where I can find the ports used and maybe how I can configure the ports as well. BTSync is installed within a Docker Container running on a Raspberry Pi. Here it's the same issue, I have to declare each incoming network ports to create the correct nat rules, in order to get access from the outside. -- Dieter
wweich
The port that needs to be open/forwarded is the one you set in the config. I don't know if UDP or TCP (I forwarded both). If you "firewalled" your device itself you may need to open additional ports for local sync/discovery.
