I know the Android app Requires Android 2.2 and up but I have a feeling both phones mentioned are higher than 2.2. 95% of the time when an app isn't compatible its b/c of the Screen Resolution that listed or Pixel density of the screen. The Devs just need to edit the Required screen size/Pixel Density to be more flexible and things should be okay.

Hi.
Some people, like me, use BTSYNC for broadcasting video records.
We use BTSYNC like this: One or a few people have all permission as well as others, most of all, have only readonly permission.
We need 2 more functions:
1 Avoiding re-download. If some files are removed from the computer with readonly permission, please do not re-download them back.
2 Choose to download. Okay, this is not important. Maybe there should be some way to let all clients choose which they want to download within all shared files.

Number one already happens unless we there is an upgrade and the files are re-indexed the don't re download after I delete them from the read only sync.

Sounds like its by design. The 2 read only Clients shouldn't Sync with each other, Because you wouldn't want it to duplicate changes on RO clients to be duplicated to other clients

is there not an new Android update? (there is not even an APK listed is why i asked)

Appolgies if this has been asked already, I did a search to check.
The auto update feature is a great addition, but could it be extended? I would like the ability of being able to specificy what version the client should be on without user intervention. At the moment I put the current version into their shared folders and then once synced drop then an email how they can update.
What would be nice if there was a URL, or hidden .exe file that BTS checks and syncs to so that all the endpoints are on the same version.
I have not yet used the auto update feature so I don't know if this automatically updates BTS or if the user has to exit and then install.

This is what I see when I try to add a sync on a Samsung Galaxy Y:
I cannot scroll or resize the screen.
I can scan the code when making a backup although the image comes rotated and a bit scaled.
I forgot to say I'm using 1.1.15
Update to the new version 1.1.7 of the android client I believe they have fixed this issues. (I haven't checked that location but the other pages that weren't working ie the info screen on the main page.)

Windows XP 64bit it barely supported by Microsoft. It never Received an SP3 Plus its an end of life Operating system. Microsoft Ends support on April 8, 2014. Its time to upgrade if your still on windows XP.

Hi, I've got a problem with latest mobile app:
I've got a phone with small screen (3") and when I try to setup a sync I have to 1. Choose the folder and then 2. Scan QR code which I cannot do because I can't see any button to do it. I only get OK button which asks me to scan a QR code.
Any one else?
It would be great to be able to backup several folders to the same location too. (but that's not a problem, just a wish)

We will add option to add secret without need to scan a QR.
If i'm understanding this right the issue isn't with Scanning a QR code. It seems the UI is too large for smaller screened phones. DonCamilo it might help to attach a screen shot to show the Issue with the UI both of my everyday phones (Nexus 4 and Droid X2) have 4in+ Screens I'll try to dig out my old Motorolla Back Flip and see if i can reproduce the issue.

I've been quiet on here for a while but i've noticed in the most recent version that when multiple files needed to be synced i'm only getting 1 file at a time. Is it possible to allow more at once? right now there are 10-20 files waiting to be synced and i'm only using about 15-20 megs of my bandwith (the destination computer has 30meg and Host has a 100meg connection)

I believe the current version supports 200k files if you have more files than that the program will crash.

have you tried deleting the .sync folder? after i deleted the folder i had an option to update.

When you browse to the web gui for linux, you'll get the download link for the new version on the top.
http://x.x.x.x:8888/gui/ by default.

Does the Linux client have an auto update? my Windows Clients are running 116 and the linux is running 1.0.109

my "work around" right now is to have my Windows server to auto login the Lock the server using
rundll32.exe user32.dll, LockWorkStation
in a batch file on start up. it "works" for now.

I have 2 Computers syncing Read only from a single source. The 2 computers monitor that Sync folder and as files are updated they Process them and move and delete the original. one of the machines has all the files the second is missing a few. There seems to be some Confusion of if the file has been synced or not.

Pay for a VPS, you could find $12/Year with 20GB of storage Low End Box and use it as Cloud Storage. if you want more security and redundancy its less $/GB with Cloud Storage services like Dropbox.
where are you buying a VPS with 20gb of storage for only 12/year?

does shutting down all tracker servers disables SyncApp from working ?
Not sure the post but I believe Kos Mentioned that the Tracker will be released. there are already options in the client to use the Tracker server and also to set it up with Predefined Hosts.

I am having the same issue. I don't have uTorrent installed removing Btsync did not resolve the issue nor did uninstalling Deluge and reinstalling it. Why has Btsync taken over my open dialog?
