  1. It may have been that issue. I updated to 1.0.134 as soon as it came out. Whether the file has been there for a while or only just appeared, I'm not sure; I only noticed it yesterday. If it's recreated, I'll post again. Thanks for your help.
  2. Howdy! I went into my "RandomSecrets" folder today and found this: This is definitely not one of the secrets I subscribed, and I did not create it manually. It seems there is a way to write outside the synchronized folder. I suspect it's probably something along the lines of "..\Have you got a virus". If that's true, then they could easily install malicious software in a higher directory. How can I help in investigating this?
  3. Howdy! I've been trying out BTSync for the past week or so, and noticed rather intensive resource usage on Windows. This is the result of running Process Monitor for 4 hours, while my machine was idle. I have only six secrets. One is 1.6GB synced only over LAN. Two are empty with no partners. Three are public and have at most 122MB each. Cat pictures: 374ZN2ADDAWZZEOTKFIAYVBMYOPMJ56Y Random stuff: CRG6XDW4ZPPAYEXOHXC6H3AVRWDZPRVV Some blogger's test: RNK7XXLW3LB4JSR7OP7LMKOTZLHEDRIRE Registry accesses seem to be mostly this: http://i.imgur.com/BxccFFw.png And network accesses occur very frequently, even when idle (no active syncs). These statistics are recorded without debug logging on. I will record a debug log once my new share has stopped syncing. It's not much of a problem for my desktop, but it drains the battery on my laptop! Thanks in advance.
