Have successfully install BitTorrent Sync under Linux at home. I then asked the computer centre to install it on my work machine, as I do not have the appropriate level of authority. They installed it but when clicking on the icon the first time I get “BitTorrent Sync has crashed. A crash dump had been ...”. I have looked at the dump but it means nothing to me, I cannot ask the computer centre help as it is a non supported programme. The second time I get “It seems like BitTorrent Sync is already running, but not responding. Please close all BitTorrent Sync processes and try again.” I have re-booted my machine several times over a couple of days and get the same messages every time.
