  1. Ok, so I've updated to the latest version (I was still on 1.0.x and apparently you don't get auto updates to 1.1.x) with no differences. I've checked your post and tried adding the IP addresses manually for each machine. Still no go. What log files do you mean exactly? sync.log for both machines contains only this at the start: [20130528 01:18:10.074] test sha1: ****** [20130528 01:18:10.074] test sha2: ****** [20130528 01:18:10.074] test aes: ****** [20130528 01:18:10.074] Loading config file version 1.1.15 [20130528 01:18:18.724] Loaded folder /Users/trodrigues/code [20130528 01:18:18.724] SyncFilesController: started periodic scan followed by the list of files from the controller and, after that, what I posted on the initial post: [20130528 01:29:10.285] Sending broadcast ping for share ******* [20130528 01:29:11.293] Sending broadcast ping for share ******* [20130528 01:29:11.293] Requesting peers from server [20130528 01:29:11.417] Got list of 1 peers from 54.225.92.50:3000 [20130528 01:29:12.019] Sending broadcast ping for share ******* [20130528 01:29:13.249] Sending broadcast ping for share ******* [20130528 01:29:14.467] Sending broadcast ping for share ******* [20130528 01:29:15.478] Sending broadcast ping for share ******* [20130528 01:29:16.515] Sending broadcast ping for share ******* [20130528 01:29:17.041] Sending broadcast ping for share ******* [20130528 01:29:18.050] Sending broadcast ping for share ******* [20130528 01:29:19.187] Sending broadcast ping for share ******* [20130528 01:29:19.187] Got 2 relay ips [20130528 01:29:19.187] Server ip 67.215.231.242:3000 [20130528 01:29:19.187] Server ip 67.215.229.106:3000 [20130528 01:29:19.213] Got 3 tracker ips [20130528 01:29:19.213] Tracker ip 54.225.196.38:3000 [20130528 01:29:19.214] Tracker ip 54.225.92.50:3000 [20130528 01:29:19.214] Tracker ip 54.225.100.8:3000 [20130528 01:29:20.410] Sending broadcast ping for share ******* with various repetitions of these patterns. The log on the other machine looks exactly the same. I don't see anything weird on system.log. Any other logs I should be looking at?
  2. Oh yes, I forgot to mention that. I did see that item on the FAQ, even though it only refers to an older version of OSX, but I waited for much longer than that period and nothing happened.
  3. Hi there, I've recently gotten a new mac from work and tried to sync some stuff with BitTorrent Sync, but it doesn't seem to work at all. Both Macs are running the latest OSX 10.8.4, both are in the same local network, and I can telnet to the listening port from one to the other. Firewall allows BitTorrent Sync to pass through. I've already tried adding and readding folders and nothing. Whenever I add a new file or remove something, the action isn't replicated on the other machine. The transfers or devices tab show me absolutely nothing. I've turned on debug logs and all I see is this: [20130524 21:06:22] Requesting peers from server [20130524 21:06:22] Got list of 1 peers from 54.225.92.50:3000 [20130524 21:06:23] Sending broadcast ping for share ********* The share ID is the same on both machines. Should I see 2 peers on this message? I honestly have no idea of what else to check. Looking around the forums I didn't manage to see anyone with a similar issue that didn't have some more easy to track down cause and I'm at a loss for ideas. Thanks in advance for any help!
