    I did not create the Read only secret, it just showed up in the preference once I copied in the Shared secret. Why is it then on both the master and the slave? An if I didn't want the folder to be a Read only what would I do to make it so.

    Yes I have and it does not tell how to use the Read Only secret.

    I am using BitTorrent Sync to keep my Motion Templates folder updated on several computers that I use for editing video. I want my laptop to be the master and all of the other computers to just have the same items in their copy of the Motion Templates. I understand that the Read-only secret is used to make a folder be a slave but I am not sure how to implement it. On both the master and the slave they have the same Read Only secret entered in the preference. So how do I use the secret, what do I have to do to make this work?
