Step 4 here:
http://sync-help.bittorrent.com/customer/portal/articles/1574723-step-by-step-guide-to-syncing
never happens.
I went through steps 1-3 no problem. I have the computer I'm sitting at saying "pending approval".
But there is no ".... wants access to TREVOR" with a green checkmark or red arrow after it on my work computer.
In short, I can set up sync, I can send an invite to sync, I can receive the invite, I can run BT sync in the 2nd computer, and I can "connect" but the 1st computer never gives me the option to "authorize" the 2nd computer.
Granted, the computers are at home and at work.
It is possible that the home computer is going to sleep by the time I get to work. Would that stop the computer at work from knowing that the computer at home has said please approve me and is stuck at "Pending approval"?
I'm using the latest Mac OS X Mavericks at work, and the latest BETA of Mac OS X Yosemite at home.

I installed bittorrent sync a month or 2 ago. It was working as advertised that whole time.
I have a Mac running the latest OS X in Toronto and a Windows machine in Vancouver running god knows what version of Windows. They sync 1 directory and all its subdirectoies back and forth.I have the latest version of sync app (aka bit torrent sync) installed in Toronto. Presumably it is the latest version in Vancouver too, but my boss installed it, so I cannot say for sure.Suddenly, over the weekend, all syncing has stopped completely. No changes are synced in either direction.I have remote desktop login capabilities to the Vancouver network so I can change files here or there, but neither of those actions causes any sync activity anymore. My Bittorrent sync history shows when files are updated, added or removed locally here. It does not cause them to be synced across the Internet though. My logs look like this:[20131106 18:40:17.316] DEBUG: UPnP: Got an m-search event[20131106 18:40:17.340] Sending broadcast ping for share xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx[20131106 18:40:18.343] Sending broadcast ping for share xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx[20131106 18:40:19.347] Sending broadcast ping for share xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx[20131106 18:40:20.317] DEBUG: UPnP: Got an m-search event[20131106 18:40:20.350] Sending broadcast ping for share xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx[20131106 18:40:21.354] Sending broadcast ping for share xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx[20131106 18:40:22.356] Sending broadcast ping for share xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx[20131106 18:40:23.317] DEBUG: UPnP: Got an m-search event[20131106 18:40:23.359] Sending broadcast ping for share xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx[20131106 18:40:24.362] Sending broadcast ping for share xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx[20131106 18:40:25.366] Sending broadcast ping for share xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx[20131106 18:40:25.366] Requesting peers from server[20131106 18:40:25.390] Got list of 1 peers from 54.225.196.38:3000[20131106 18:40:26.327] DEBUG: UPnP: Got an m-search event[20131106 18:40:26.393] Sending broadcast ping for share xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx[20131106 18:40:27.396] Sending broadcast ping for share xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx(*I changed the share ID because I don’t know if that’s something that can be used to determine our secret, though I suspect not, or else it would be a really Bad Idea to print it in logs, because people would sooner or later copy/paste them online, but just in case…)and new entries are continuously being added at a rate of > 1 per second.1) What can I do to troubleshoot?2) Can I “reinstall” or something, without re-downloading the gigabytes of files that are already synced on both systems?3) How can I fix it?

Sync refuses to sync files greater than zero bytes now.
