  1. Ok, that's what I thought. But, let's imagine the read only setting is not enabled. Just two folders that are getting synced. What happens if a disk gets broken, some sectors damaged, I guess this has been taken into account by the Bittorrent team, and my guess is that the files won't get synced.
  2. I'm a happy Sync user, but as I'm using it for backups, I would like to know what is the tolerance Sync has for hardware failures? My setup is the following: I have a dedicated server, which I use as my main Sync server, so I can replace the functionality of Dropbox. I use the iOS app to have a backup of my pictures/videos and that folder is synced on the dedicated server and on my laptop. That way, I have my videos/pictures in three places: Phone/Dedicated Server/Laptop. As I'm running out of space on the phone, I delete stuff from the Phone, with the tranquility that all of the contents are in two places, the dedicated server and the laptop. When I shoot more pictures or videos, I just sync again, and my dedicated server and laptop get the new stuff, but the older stuff still remains. That is perfect and this is what I want. So, what would happen if the laptop or the dedicated server hard drive fail? That folder is marked by sync as read only, but it's not yet clear to me that, if the dedicated server hard drive fail, will be the laptop folder modified with corrupt files? Please, could you confirm this? I'm pretty sure it works that way, but you know, just want to double check :-) Regards
  3. Is there any plan to support mobile in the future? I can see Sync to replace iCloud and Dropbox easily.
  4. From what I see in the docs, the API is only for computers, not for mobile devices, so, I don't think I can use it for my purposes. Anyway, how can I make use of the btsync protocol in my own iOS app? I would like to do similar things to what the btsync iOS app does, but focused on an specific set of files and hiding much of the functionality to the user. Thanks in advance.
