Hi,
well yes, this read-only thingy was actually a problem, but i didnt set it (knowingly) to read-only.
I used the Wizard on the first run and chose the folder to be synced. This didnt work. When i right-clicked the folder it said indeed something about read-only. So i took the folder out of BTSync (remove sync folder) and inserted it again with a new key. -> Did not work.
Then i tryed alot of removing read-only attribute-methods on the actual folder.
1.Method -> cmd -> attrib -r Z:\path
2.Method -> right-click remove read-only flag -> Apply.
3.Method -> aquire "ownership" (known win7 problem)
All of these methods didnt work.
What seemed to fix the problem was:
Quit BTSync.
Delete all content in %appdata% /Roaming/BitTorrent Sync
Delete all .sync* files in the folder i were trying to sync.
Restart BTSync.
Now the wizard should show up again. I just marked "Accept Terms and Agreements ..." and pressed "Skip".
Then i manually added the folder ("Add a Sync Folder").
And voila, he started indexing...
don't ask me why.
