Hello
I noticed that changes made remotely on a shared directory are not reflected.
Here is the scenario with 2 computers ( A, B )and a NAS on the same LAN:
- Btsync is installedd on the NAS and B, both with full access key
- on B when I create a file it is reflected on the NAS
- if i log on the NAS from A through SSH and I create a file, it is reflected on B
- from A when I access the NAS remotely the shared directory (\\NAS\dir) and I create a file , it is NOT reflected on B
Does btsync detect the way changes are made on the directory and treat only the local ones?
That's not really a matter, but just to understand

Hello
I saw on the documentation that we can change the master key of a foder, but can we replace it by the read only key so that changes made localy are not reflected to the masters?
Thank you

ok good I made a simple test with two computers and the first option is correct, my master dir receives all the content from the read only dir !
Sorry for this obvious question ^^

Hello
Very good software, works great!
Thank you for all your work on this!
On the following architecture:
- one full access directory on computer A
- one read only directory on computer B
- one read only directory on computer C
This way, anyone working on A, has a copy on B and C.
Let's say computer A is lost or stops working, on a new computer D I install btsync and use the master key on a directory(I saved it befor computer A crashes).
Here is my question:
- will my new empty directory on D receive the content from B and C ?
- or will B and C delete the content of their directories as the master is empty ?
Thank you
