  1. Device: Asus Chromebook Flip C302
    ChromeOS: Version 70.0.3538.110
    Sync Version: 2.6.2 (8022)

I just searched a lot and found this reproducible bug:

When adding a folder (with a lot of files > 400)  to the micro sd card of the configuration described above, Sync will  suddenly start to create new files and upload them to the peers. They have the same name as the original files with a number at the end. Maybe a timestamp. This is happening as long as there is no space left on the device or the peer.  So a real pain. File list example of unwanted files:

    * When syncing to internal storage everything works fine.
    * When adding a folder with just < 50 files it seams to work also on the sd card

  2.

-> After some indexing the N7 claims all folders to be out of sync. But trying to synchronize in the Overflow-Menu of the folders told me "no files to synchronize" :-/

I have the same with my Nexus 5. I'm a new user and installed all the newest stuff on Ubuntu (1.4.72) and Android (1.4.38). I also think that everything is synced fine, it just tells me "Out of sync"...

    Thanks. Spiff.
