    This isn't working for me, even after a restart.

    I tried disabling it using ShellExView, and it STILL shows up.

  2. Yes, the folder is read-only on the Android peer and located on external SD. I believe the files remain on the device but are left in an unreadable state; my audio player will not show any of the files in the directory unless I re-download them by turning selective sync on and then back off.

    Is the solution to make the folder on Android read-write? How do I go about doing that?

  3. So here is another absurd problem I have encountered. I have a directory of music files that I have synced to my Android device. After updating the ID3 tags of some files, the Sync app will actually delete every single file in the directory instead of simply updating/re-downloading the changed files. Worse, the app will not re-download the files; all of the files just sit there with an empty progress bar and an X at the end. Does this make any sense?

  4. Does syncing work for you on internal storage? Neither have worked for me since upgrading to the latest version of Sync; I am convinced that there is a serious bug. 

    >Add folder to Android app.

    >Start downloading.

    >Bandwidth rises and then drops until the download stops.

    >App thinks files are synced even though they are non-existent or only partially downloaded.

    >Exit and re-enter app. App says there is a database error with the folder.

    >Try to remove folder from Sync, but any folder or file remains there; nothing is removed.

    Seriously...

    (It does manage to work on folders with only one or two image files, though...)

  5. There is nothing in that folder other than a folder called "files." I have done an extensive search; Sync for Android apparently hasn't made any .log files on my device.

    I have a .log file for my Windows installation, but I don't know if that is even worth sending since I seem to be having issues only on Android.

  6. I am having so many problems that Sync is now unusable, so I have no choice but to submit a log. But I noticed that the log actually lists the file names of everything you have synced. Isn't that kind of a privacy issue? Not that I care since I only have music synced, but that could be a problem for others.

    Also, is there a separate log that the Android app produces that I should be sending as well?

  7. I am suddenly experiencing problems with Android sync. I don't know if it has anything to do with the latest desktop app or Android app, but I didn't have any issues until upgrading.

     

    1. Sometimes syncing never ends. Desktop tray icon spins forever.

    2. Android app suggests that data is synced, but none (or only some) of the data is actually on my external SD card.

    3. After clearing a folder in the Android app, synced data remains on my external SD card.

     

    The last problem suggests to me that something is wrong with the full sync to external SD card feature; there is an obvious disconnect between what the app is reporting and the actual contents of my card. Restarting the app and rebooting the phone has not helped.
