  1. I have sync installed on my home server which is in turn always connected to the Internet via vpn I can send files between my server and other devices as long as they are connected on my home lan network. however, if I am on a different network from my lan sync will show my device connected as a peer but no data transfer will occur. How do I fix this? Please let me know if I need to supply more info
  2. Btsync is installed on my windows server which is permanently connected to a vpn. I use dynamic dns to access various webgui's remotely. This requires that I change the default port because i cant pick which ports get forwarded through my vpn. I am trying to change the default btsync webgui port from 8888 to 9786. I downloaded a sample configure file from this site and made what I think are the necessary edits to change said port (see attached). I placed the configuration file in the same directory as the .exe, and from inside the directory ran "btsync.exe /config btsync.conf" from command line with admin privileges. However, it didn't seem to work. What do I do now? btsync.conf
