There really is no way to do this? C'mon; that can't be intentional. Why would anyone sabotage software in this manner?

Thanks for the reply (o: Unfortunately, not only does that seem to be, at best, a very convoluted way of doing something Really simple, if it works at all - it's a paid only option. I might buy, down the line, but for now, I'm trying to test it out. Is there a way to set the folder behind the interface?

To elaborate: I don't want to copy the data to a sync folder, I don't want to make a sync folder with a symbolic link. I don't want redundancy in my file system. I want to set Sync to share an existing folder, that isn't called 'sync'.

Hey guys. I want to share an existing folder on my mac, without moving the files and folders in there to a /sync folder - how do I do this? The folder text field in settings is not editable, and selecting a folder via the dialogue simply creates a /sync folder there, and shares that one.
