I was thinking more like a Google Drive type setup, where the windows sync server is a backup server and clients can send files to it to store.

Is there a way to send files from a Sync client to a Windows Sync server without syncing on the client? For example, I have a file in my Documents folder on my Android phone and I just want to send it but I don't want to create a sync folder on the Android phone and have the file appear there too. The file on the server should then be retrievable by anyone who is shared that folder.
