    I think, also v2.6.x runs anyway but its better to have some tests to be sure. Maybe there is a possibility to run both software it means Resilio and Sycthing for the same folder. You must include the patterns

    // ########## Resilio files
    .sync
    !sync
    *.rsls

    // ########## syncthing files
    .stfolder
    .stignore
    .stversions
    .syncthing
    .syncthing*
    .syncthing.*.*.tmp
    ~syncthing~*.*.tmp
    *.sync-conflict-*

    on both sides in the Ignore List to have Resilio and Syncthing have together working on the same folder. Maybe this helps.

    Many thanks for that. Will test and see.

    *EDIT*

    @Andy+ - many thanks - working fine! For the intended use case that is. Looking forward to future development. May still run both for now though...will see.

    If you read this thread from beginning there are some instruction for WS. If now no free version available and you need a license, you must pay to use Resilio on WS. If you dont want to pay, there are surely alternate P2P solutions possible.

    Thanks for your reply @Andy+ - I've been using SyncThing primarily previously, but for some things recently I've used Resilio. I followed and I get that the license requirements now needs a business license - but considering the situation where the the VPS provider DOES NOT support any other Windows version but Server...I'm wondering if - for example - I could pay for the current version and then install 2.6.x on the VPS with my current license. It's just to get certain things over. And Resilio is more convenient (easy) with getting things done.

    TBH - I may get a license either way for my personal devices, but I use my VPS for a lot of transfers. I live where power/internet outages are frequent - so moving things to the VPS then to my cloud services is better/easier/more reliable. My setup is off-grid so I personally don't need to worry about the outages, but an outage will also mean internet is down. When I'm on the road working I can't hotspot to my home for data transfer. Just as examples.

  3. Good night all. Necro this thread because I'm not finding much info otherwise. So....

    I used other tools for local and remote sync - and saw BT but never got into it. Resilio seems good, but I have one problem - server support. I'm paying for a VPS with a provider - I've been using them for years with no problems - but they don't have Windows 7/10 as an option - only Windows Server. Is there any licensing workaround in a case like this? Or will it require a business license in order to work?
