    Another possible option if you have the storage space on your server - I use DrivePool on my HomeServer to duplicate folders/files to other disks in the pool. It can be configured to duplicate 2x or 3x - so the selected folders/files would exist on 2 or 3 drives. Not a RAID setup, just a simple duplication. If any one drive dies, the files would exist on the other drives. The dead one can be pulled and replaced, and the duplicated drives will repopulate the new drive.
