btsync on DLink NAS DNS-323

I want to run btsync on a DLink DNS-323. It has a ARM processor and runs a customized firmware. Hardware information are available here: http://dns323.kood.org/start

I downloaded the ARM binary but can't start it.

root@DNS-323:/mnt/USB_ffp/bt# ./btsync
-sh: ./btsync: No such file or directory

root@DNS-323:/mnt/USB_ffp/bt# ls -l
total 3352
-rwxrwxrwx 1 root root 3424480 Apr 18 12:19 btsync

The binary is flagged as executable but doesn't start. Has the binary some dependencies or need some libraries?

Thank you!

Conny

Edit:

If found the answer:

and "According to btsync requirements, it needs glibc, and the dlink NAS is uClibc based"

btsync also requires Linux 2.6.16 or later, and the DNS-323 is 2.6.12 (as of latest firmware). So I think it's a no-go.

There is an alternate firmware for the DNS-323, Alt-F (currently in release candidate stage). https://code.google.com/p/alt-f/. I have not tried this firmware, but I do note that it is running Linux 2.6.35. There is still the glibc issue, though. https://groups.google.com/forum/?fromgroups=#!topic/alt-f/56JpDW3UxCg.

Perhaps the workaround that rdebath linked to, using Alt-F firmware, will lead to a solution.
