"invalid request" (Linux)

Recommended Posts

I don't think so but I could be wrong. Using another computer on my LAN when I type the wrong URL i get "Oops! Google Chrome could not connect to<address>". when I type in the proper address IE: 192.168.1.101:8888 or 192.168.1.101:8888/gui I get the Invalid Request message. It does the exact same thing for local host on the server side.

Hello Everyone

I installed btsync (1.1.22) on an AppleTV 1 with Crystalbuntu running on it.

All works great!

Just when I try and access via WebUI then I also get the same error message "invalid request".

Did someone get this topic solved already?

I tried with chrome and firefox:

http://10.0.1.23:8888

http://10.0.1.23:8888/gui

My conf looks like this:

{

"device_name": "AppleTV-K",

"listening_port" : 8888,

"storage_path" : "/home/atv/.btsync",

"pid_file" : "/home/atv/.btsync/btsync.pid",

"check_for_updates" : false,

"use_upnp" : false,

"download_limit" : 0,

"upload_limit" : 0,

"webui" : {

"listen" : "10.0.1.23:8888",

"login" : "admin",

"password" : "****"

},

"shared_folders" :

[

{

"secret" : "*********************",

"dir" : "/home/atv/BTSync/",

"use_relay_server" : true,

"use_tracker" : true,

"use_dht" : false,

"search_lan" : false,

"use_sync_trash" : false,

"known_hosts" :

I have got the same issue at the moment, just updated, and wiped the Sync folder clear.

I have tried default, and with a sync, I have tried with and without nodaemon, with and with out config, and config with nodaemon...

I have tried changing the default port for the gui and the default receive port. Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, and lots of space, ram wise, and hardware wise. Any suggestions?

Have you tried clearing the browser cache? Any other services running on that box? e.g. media server...
