gian72
Hi to all, is there a way to start a program (in linux / windows) when the dir is fully synced? It should run like 'utorrent' that when a torrent has finished downloading I can run automatically a program.Thank you.Gian
GreatMarko
No, it's not currently possible to "trigger" external actions/applications on Sync events.A potential workaround could be write a program/script that reads/monitors log files created by Sync for completed transfers and then trigger an external application accordingly?Do consider adding your idea to the wishlist thread also! espe
hey guys, what log files are you monitoring there?i couldn't find anything looking at files in the .sync folder..- my sync.log only contains entries about loading folders (when it was loading them for the first time)- and the .dat files seem contain settings and known hosts/folders
GreatMarko
hey guys, what log files are you monitoring there?Well, you'd have to enable debug logging, and then parse this file - but be aware that this can generate very large files very quickly!
