Incomplete indexes on both sides of RO sync setup

Hi. I've tried to get an RO sync (master/slave) going but have given up; the slave will not follow *some* of the files.

There are 6 shares. 3 with low file counts and 3 with moderate to high file counts.

The folders with low file counts do not exhibit any problems. The report below regards only one of the 3 problem folders.

SLAVE

OS: Windows XP SP3

Windows says: 6.43 GB in 54881 files (.Sync* files not included)

BTsync says: 5.0 GB in 54774 files (the actual minus 107)

Files covered by .SyncIgnore: none

Debug logging enabled

MASTER

OS: Windows 7 ultimate SP1

Windows says: 6.43 GB in 54880 files (.Sync* files not included)

BTsync says: 6.4 GB in 54857 files (the actual minus 23)

Files covered by .SyncIgnore: dektop.ini

Debug logging disabled

In Devices Tab: (arrow-up) 1.3GB

Observations:

- The master seems to be aware of the missing files as it indicates a want-to-upload of 1.3 GB

- In the slave's sync log all files are marked 'is in future' i.e.:

[2013-07-29 15:32:14] SyncFilesController: Error, internal time for file "\\?\M:\Mirror\C-drive[]Dataserver\CA656\Databases\Catalog" is in future

- In the slave's sync log there is an indication it *does* know about the missing files. i.e.:

[2013-07-29 15:32:28] SyncFilesController: Update for invalidated file CA660\Databases\Apotheek\apotheek.005 (R/O). Skipping

There is no indication as to *why* they're skipped

- On the slave side one unmodified file has .!sync suffix, but no data transfer is taking place.

- BTsync restart, remove sync folder, add sync folder; none of it matters.

- Starting from scratch: RAR the master-side folder, FTP to slave, unpack makes no difference whatsoever.

BTSync versions were 1.1.48 (and the one before that with identical behavior)

Hope this is of use to someone.

Good luck,

C
