Bebel
Hi,I am just setting up BT Sync. I have a directory that is already synced to various machines via Dropbox. In other words, the contents I want to sync are already synced and already on all the synced machines. Can I simply sync the non-empty directories in BT Sync? Will BT Sync recognized that the contents are already there and identical across machines? In other words, to simplify, say I have two machines A and B with directories called "dir" and in that directory a file called "file.txt". If I sync A\dir\ and B\dir\, will BT Sync recognize that "file.txt" already exists in the source and destination locations? How does BT Sync handle this situation? Thanks. Bebel
P.S. I should perhaps add that Dropbox is kind of unimportant. The point is about how BT Sync handles existing directories that already have the same contents.
Hvmhvm
I had a similar situation, and when I added them with the same Secret both directories were indexed, and while that was happening it looked as if some data was going to be transferred, but in the end no data was.
