jeffisme
First, I should say when it comes to these things I'm an idiot, but I was able to follow the instructions for installing bittorrent sync on my DS213. I then went to the package center and clicked on the icon but I couldn't get to a web page as it seems to want to go through port 8888 when my DS account is set to 5000. I looked all over for a way to change it but couldn't find anything, and nor did any of the troubleshooting suggestions I saw seem to apply to my problem. Is there a way to fix this and get it runnning? thanks for any help, jeff
JimmyTheSaint
Manual install is pretty easy if you're comfortable with ssh'ing into your NAS. Then you can set the port in the configuration file.
jeffisme
thanks. i tried but got stuck right at the beginning with a window that said "invalid file." from what I could figure my synology ds 213 needs the linux arm version, or am I wrong? JimmyTheSaint
In my case (refer to my signature), my DS213+ uses the Freescale QorlQ P1022 PPC CPU version. What kind of CPU does your NAS have?
