hobesman
For some reason this file is always syncing. Every few seconds it pops up and syncs. Any idea what it is? I've tried to search all of the synced folders and didn't find a file called "index" so I'm baffled. I'm not sure if it's related, but BTSync is consistently using about 300mb of ram. Though I don't know what's normal for the program, but that seemed like a lot.Granted, I'm have several folders synced totaling roughly 300GB, so that might be the cause for high resources?Any ideas? Harold Feit
There's a file in one of your folders that is an apparent index of the rest of it that is being updated semi-constantly.It's not part of sync so it's part of something else you have active on your system causing the constant sync of it. hobesman
Aha! I finally looked at disk access in Resource Manager and discovered it's a file in my PortableApps version of Chrome. Chrome must be running on the other computer the folder is syncing to. Now to figure out why BTSync is using 300MB of RAM... But if that isn't related, maybe I'll look elsewhere for an answer for that.
