I HateRegisteringToGetHelp
Hello,I have just downloaded the BitTorrent Sync to synchronise data between my computers. I have chosen the BTSync because there should be no third person with access to my personal data. However, I have seen this text in the Terms of Use (http://www.bittorrent.com/legal/terms-of-use) when trying to install the program (14.b.i.): You consent to having your personal data transferred to and processed in the United States.I would like to ask...what is that supposed to mean? It looks like some general terms designated rather for the BitTorrent client but why should I agree with that when installing BTSync? Harold Feit
It means that the relay servers (in case of firewalled relay connections) are in the US. No decryption happens on the relay servers.
