Possible to sync desktop icon locations and wallpaper ?

Currently, we have been using SuperDuper to keep 2 Retina Macbook Pro's in sync.

A kind of weird addition to that is that we use an app called "Desktop Icon Manager" (https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/19789/desktop-icon-manager) to memorize and restore desktop icon locations.

So if the icons are rearranged or a display is connected and they move around, this app helps put them back where we want them.

So...

We started using Bit Torrent Sync to replace Super Duper and just keep all files synced all the time. And it works great but it won't keep the icons in the same place.  Even if we hit "Memorize" on one, and later "Restore" on the other, it doesn't do it. We're not sure what file is saved to keep track of the locations.

Also, changing the wallpaper doesn't seem to affect the other Mac.

Any help or workaround for these 2 remaining issues would be greatly appreciated.

Jeff
