lodder
Hello, I have 2 machines one in timezone of CST and one in CET. I have change the .bashrc to set the time zone of the CST to CET and the difference is 3 minutes which is less then de 600 seconds of btsync. But I'm still getting the error: "Sync stopped: device time difference more than 600 seconds" Is btsync ignoring timezones? Kind Regards, Lodder
GreatMarko
Is btsync ignoring timezones? Sync references everything back to UTC when comparing file modification times, etc, so the timezone setting itself should be an issue. I'm aware your devices are only 3 minutes different, but does the problem go away if you actually synchronize both your devices to a time server? lodder
Thanks for the reply! The server is a rented shell account so I can't change anything on it...
