babycakes
and he sent me his secret folder (??) and now it's asking me to link it to a folder on my computer. If I do that do I put myself in danger or anything? Not sure if he's trying to eff with me.
goli
Hey there. If sombeody tells you to install something without telling you why, then just don't do it. Do you pout yourself in danger? Maybe. Btsync itself does not, and sharing a folder doesn't, too. But what if your "friend" drops a virus into the shared folder? Do you notice? Do you come here again and ask if you should open it? Do you simply open it? It all depends on how aware you are of what your're doing. And since you don't even know what he wants you to do, just let it be. Regards,Stephan.
