PSramek
Excuse me if this is super basic. I installed Sync and it runs beautifully between my two Macs. What I want to do is sync a folder on another drive volume and this does NOT work. I can set the folders up on both machines and all looks in order - but the sync will not run. My conclusion is that all folders must reside in the no Sync folder - but that does not make sense. What am I missing?
Harold Feit
Syncing between two locations on the same computer isn't a function of sync.Syncing a location between two or more computers is what sync is designed for. Are you enabling local discovery on the sync folder entry?
PSramek
Sorry if I was unclear. I am not syncing within one computer. I have two computers, but I seem only to be able to sync the original folder which the application created. When I try to sync a folder outside of that one to my other laptop, it won't transfer.OK - I recreated the sync folders and it's working now -
