Canyon
As some files are quite big, for e.g. TruceCrypt container file in GBs, I'd like that the changes are synced in certain time cycle or on designated time but not real-time, in order to avoid the quite long scanning and syncing time for each time I accessed the files. I'm wondering whether it is doable by any chance in current version?
GreatMarko
Right click the tray icon and select "Pause Syncing". Then when you wish to sync changes, right click the tray icon and select "Resume Syncing". See also this thread.
Canyon
Right click the tray icon and select "Pause Syncing". This pauses the changes being synced out over network, but BTSync still scans the changes made to the file immediatly. When the file is a big one, it consumes a lot hard disk I/O and time to scan the file, also the file is locked out for access during scanning. Hope scheduler could be built in to the great software sooner.
