RomanZ
@datroubler It is possible in latest version of BTSync 1.3.105. Open folder properties, advanced tab, update secret button.
datroubler
Great! Thanks!Did you implement this after you read my posting?
RomanZ
@datroubler Not actually. It was a known issue that it is not possible to change the secret in WebUI and fix was planned in the new WebUI.
datroubler
Same problem the other way around:I have now a read only Folder and would like to change it to a read/write folder. I still can't change the key...
RomanZ
Only by removing folder and re-adding it with a new secret.
datroubler
Would it be possible to add a Feature what will make BT Sync as nice as dropbox:Why can't I have "master" rights with a user name and password to a specific folder which would allow me to revoke read/write priviliges to an other device / user? Like it is possible in Dropbox. Is it because of the decentralized structure that this isn't possible?
RomanZ
@datroubler, I suggest posting it to Feature Request forum. The proposals from there are reviewed regularly by dev team and some of them are implemented.
