Narfus
Maybe I wasn't searching hard enough but I was unable to find, where and how the secrets in use are stored.I'm asking because I want to use btsync on my raspberry pi. Normally I'd just encrypt the whole raspberry, but as it is quite slow I'd like to just encrypt my external disk with my sync stuff. If I put the btsync installation on the encrypted disk and run it from there, am I risking that my secrets may be extracted from the system because they are saved somewhere or are they somehow stored in the location of the program itself and therefore encrypted on the external disk? RomanZ
@Narfus BTSync for Linux stores DBs and all app-related data in "storage" folder. Its location is either configured in config file or (if you run BTSync without config) - in hidden folder ".sync" in the same directory where binary resides.
