Btsync No Longer Follows Symlinks When Parsing Configuration Files

I'm using the yeasoft debian packages to manage btsync.[1] I just upgraded to version 2.0.0-2[2], and my setup just stopped working.

The yeasoft init script expects to find config files in /etc/btsync/${name}.${uid}.${gid}.conf. In my setup, I create symlinks there to point to the actual configuration file in my home directory.[3]

Trying to start btsync using the symlink fails;[4] but running it with the actual configuration file succeeds,[5] even though it's the same file that the symlink is pointed at.

This used to work, prior to the upgrade; and I've confirmed that the issue is present even without using anything special about the yeasoft packages.
