anderbubble
I'm using the yeasoft debian packages to manage btsync.[1] I just upgraded to version 2.0.0-2[2], and my setup just stopped working. The yeasoft init script expects to find config files in /etc/btsync/${name}.${uid}.${gid}.conf. In my setup, I create symlinks there to point to the actual configuration file in my home directory.[3] Trying to start btsync using the symlink fails;[4] but running it with the actual configuration file succeeds,[5] even though it's the same file that the symlink is pointed at. This used to work, prior to the upgrade; and I've confirmed that the issue is present even without using anything special about the yeasoft packages. ~jonathon [1]: http://www.yeasoft.com/site/projects:btsync-deb:btsync-server [2]: sha1sum /usr/lib/btsync/btsync-daemon cc3c56d461aa4f593b7e173e38e79855a2998783 /usr/lib/btsync/btsync-daemon [3]: $ ls -l /etc/btsync/janderson.janderson.users.conf lrwxrwxrwx 1 janderson janderson 28 Nov 27 21:30 /etc/btsync/janderson.janderson.users.conf -> /home/janderson/.btsync.conf [4]: sudo -u janderson -g users /usr/lib/btsync/btsync-daemon --nodaemon --log sync.log --config /etc/btsync/janderson.janderson.users.conf Error while parsing config file: Unexpected end of config file (are you missing '}') ?
