johnny_swindle
I just installed Sync and I would like to have a backup go to a specific folder on a PC rather than the default. I ready though the forums and saw that many users where saying that simply move it to the new location and Sync will locate it. Well, I am doing somehting wrong as I did a test backup from my phone to the default Sync folder. Once the backup was complete, I put the PC and phone sync apps on Pause and moved the folder to a newly created subfolder inside the default Sync folder. I unpaused both systems and now Sync on the PC is telling me it can locate the orginial folder. What did I do wrong? Thanks.... GreatMarko
Set your device's synchronization mode to "Disconnected" - you'll then be able to choose destination folders rather than syncing to the default folder.
